In early 2024, Alex Shepard, the author of a children's book about the Jacksonville Jaguars' mascot, Jaxson De Ville, approached me. He asked if I could help bring his story to life through illustrations! While I've always considered myself a casual illustrator, this was an opportunity beyond my wildest dreams—a chance to become a published illustrator.
