What are Prowler Puffs?
The idea for Prowler Puffs hit me after watching the classic SNL skit, Colon Blow. I thought, what if we treated our throwback uniform reveal like a cereal launch? From there, it turned into this fun mix of nostalgia, Saturday morning energy, and 90s-style advertising. The perfect way to announce the return of the Prowlers.

The Video
For this announcement, we leaned into a Saturday morning nostalgia vibe that instantly resonated with fans. Drawing inspiration from classic cartoon breakfast commercials and some Cam Little star power, we brought the Prowler throwbacks back in style for four games this season.

THE CREATIVE
This announcement pulled inspiration from those classic late 90’s magazine ads. Everything about the rollout was intentional — from the photoshoot with the giant box to the typography and messaging choices.
Box Creative
I designed each cereal box to represent one of the four games the Prowlers will be worn in. The boxes were also made to highlight the Prowler Pack — a four-game ticket bundle where fans can catch these throwbacks in action. Easily one of my favorite designs to date.

The Photoshoots
We had a few more of our players suit up for fresh photos in these awesome throwbacks. We also built a life-sized cereal box for them to pose with, bringing the creative to life in the most fun way possible.
